We all run at our own pace.
We all need different training.
Each one of us are motivated by different songs, outcomes, and rewards.
When I watch each person in my family run, we all have our own form and style, and I love it. Some stretch out their legs and just stride to victory, fast and faithful. Another has his head and face determined, pushing himself to shear exhaustion. Then there is the girl (not speaking of myself) who is a natural… and fast!
Hebrews 12:1 tells us to …”lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”
And 1 Corinthians 9:24 “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.”
We all run our own race for Jesus. Our goal is Jesus Himself. “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”(Philippians 3:14)
